Accessibility statement

The standard

I aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and I test it, including with automated accessibility testing and keyboard checks in English and Spanish, when it changes.

How the site is built

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
• Text and buttons meet AA color contrast, and text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
• Images have text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Form fields have labels, and errors are described in text and announced.
• The price estimator and the service area map work with a keyboard and announce their results.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the site’s animations are turned off. Nothing on the site flashes or moves on its own for more than a few seconds.
• Pages are available in English and Spanish, and each is marked with its language.

Known limitations

Links to Google, Instagram, Facebook, Nextdoor and WhatsApp open sites I don’t control, and their accessibility may vary.
