I take dogs to the nearest park or trail that’s big enough for a proper, full walk, not just a lap around the block. Depending on your neighborhood, that might be the Mary Carter Greenway along the South Platte, the High Line Canal Trail or Clement Park. Walks are always on leash, and we follow local park rules.
