What a hike looks like
Room to roam
On trails where it’s allowed, dogs with reliable recall get supervised off-leash time. Groups stay small, usually 3–4 dogs, so every pup gets attention.
Scenic foothills trails
Pine forest, meadows and creeks around Golden and Boulder. About 1.5–2 hours of trail time per outing, rotating trails to keep it interesting.
Safety first
Pet CPR and First Aid certified, with water, treats and a first-aid kit on every hike, plus rest breaks. You get photos after each hike, plus a GPS route on request.
Hike prices
All hikes include pickup and drop-off, trail time and plenty of care. Prices are per outing, per dog.

Estimate your hikes
Estimate only. Holidays are +$10 per visit or hike and +$35 per overnight; homes outside the core area may have a small travel fee. Scooping first visits and yards over ¼ acre are quoted at the meet & greet.
Requirements
- Vaccinated and healthy: at least 6 months old and current on core vaccines like rabies and DHPP.
- Spayed or neutered for group hikes: no females in heat or intact males in the pack.
- Good manners and recall: a quick temperament check before the first hike; friendly with dogs, people and other trail users.
- Gear: a secure collar or harness with ID. I bring leashes, water and treats.
New clients start with a meet & greet or a trial hike. Hikes run most weekdays with morning pickups, so dogs are home by early afternoon, happy and tired.
Adventure hike FAQs
How long are the hikes and where do you go?
Each adventure hike takes about 3–4 hours including transport, with 1.5–2 hours of actual trail time. We hike dog-friendly foothills trails around Golden and Boulder, choosing shade and water when possible.
How many dogs are in a group hike?
Groups are small, usually no more than 4 dogs, so every dog is closely supervised. Dogs that do better alone can book a private hike.
Is it safe to let my dog off leash?
Off-leash time only happens on trails where it’s allowed and only after your dog has shown reliable recall and good manners. Until then we use a long lead, and I carry leashes for every dog.
Do I get updates during the hike?
Yes. You get a post-hike report with photos (and a GPS map of the route on request), and I can send a quick text or live photos during longer outings on request.
